This book focuses on why it is usually not that easy and which obstacles mothers* who work in science encounter beyond the baby and toddler phase. Wiebke Vogelaar identifies central challenges of reconciling care work and science and places them in the context of maternity research and the experiences from her own coachings. Based on this, she develops real-life action options that mothers* can use to (re)understand themselves and write more effectively.
