
The discrepancy between the theoretically expected and the empirically observed rotational speed of spiral galaxies, represents a central problem in current cosmological models. To solve this phenomenon, the scientific literature primarily discusses the existence of Dark Matter and modifications of the theory of gravity (e.g., MOND). The present study expands this scientific discourse with an alternative approach: It analyzes the extent to which Karl Uller's Wellenkinematik can provide a consistent, purely kinematic explanation for the observed rotation curves.
